Visiting Wimbledon: EASY ACCESS
EASY ACCESS

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS INFORMATION WAS CORRECT AS OF 2011. PLEASE VISIT WIMBLEDON.COM FOR UP TO DATE INFORMATION

We try to ensure that the facilities at Wimbledon are accessible to all our visitors with a disability; however, by the nature of the site, some areas may be physically challenging and we strongly recommend that those with a significant disability and/or those using a wheelchair are accompanied by an able-bodied helper.

Access to the Grounds
A special Easy Access map is available to download and will also be available, on request, from the security officers at all entrance gates.
The map is clearly marked with the recommended route around the Grounds (especially for wheelchair users), the location of appropriate toilets and the catering areas that are all easily accessible.

Disabled Visitors with visual impairments
The AELTC is constantly increasing efforts to accommodate visually-impaired tennis fans to both the competition site and this website.
To enlarge or reduce the font on the Wimbledon website please use the buttons + and - at the bottom of the page.

Guide dogs
Assistance dogs are allowed in the Grounds and on show courts for visitors with a valid ticket. For the enjoyment and safety of all our guests, guide dogs must lie quietly under the seat/s of their owner/s and must not cause an obstruction which might have health and safety implications.

Although guide dogs are permitted in the Grounds, it is recommended that our sight-impaired visitors also have a human companion with them in case of emergency.

Access to and around the All England Club
Recent improvements to access around the Grounds for visually-impaired guests include having handrails painted in contrasting colours to their surrounds and large-print menus at catering facilities.

Radio Wimbledon
Radio Wimbledon will be broadcasting throughout The Championships live on 87.7 FM within a five mile radius of the Grounds. There will also be a dedicated Centre Court commentary on 96.3 FM and a dedicated No.1 Court commentary on 97.8 FM for those inside the stadiums.
So as not to interfere with other guests or players, please use headphones at all times.

Disabled Visitors with mobility impairments
Disabled visitors with mobility impairments who intend to buy tickets on the day of play are advised to telephone the Ticket Office (020 8971 2473) for further details on queuing and car parking arrangements.
For further ticket information (not ticket sales), or if you have limited mobility and would like further information concerning provision for our wheelchair users and ambulant disabled customers, please call the Ticket Office on 020 8971 2473.
