The multi-award winning Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum is located between Gates 3 and 4, and is open both during The Championships and all year round.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MUSEUM IS ONLY OPEN TO TICKET-HOLDERS DURING THE CHAMPIONSHIPS. NON-TICKET HOLDERS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED. NORMAL CHARGES APPLY.
Highlights of the Museum include:

- A 'ghost' of John McEnroe which appears in the very changing room he once used! Watch as he speaks about the game and his legendary opponents
- 200° Cinema with special effects capturing The Science of Tennis
- Film and video footage which take visitors right into the action of some of the most memorable and exciting tournament matches
- An extensive, unsurpassed collection of tennis memorabilia dating back to 1555
- Museum Gallery with fascinating displays drawn from our vast collection
- CentreCourt360 the new viewing experience of Centre Court, located right by the grass, with touch screen interpretation and two fun interactive galleries.
We regret that because of security and operational issues around The Championships there will be no viewing of Centre Court for Museum visitors from 13 June to 8 July 2011. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause. A discount will be applied to our normal prices to reflect the situation.

Award Winning Tours
Tours are not open during The Championships, but during the rest of the year, you can explore the Grounds as part of one of our acclaimed behind-the-scenes tours. This is a fantasic opportunity to experience the home of The Championships and see the facilities which will be used during London 2012. You are strongly advised to pre-book individual tours through our website or by telephone to avoid disappointment.

The Wimbledon Library
The Kenneth Ritchie Wimbledon Library, which is part of The Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, contains one of the most outstanding collections of British and foreign lawn tennis books, annuals, periodicals, programmes, newspaper cuttings, video cassettes, DVDs etc.
The vast range of subject matter at the Kenneth Ritchie Library is available to the general public upon request, for study and research. A catalogue, listing all items held by the Library, is available from the Wimbledon Museum Shop. Facilities are available for photocopying and the screening of DVDs.
Normally, the Library is open Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 5:00pm but is closed to the public during The Championships.
